Scholarships

Overview

To help cover out-of-pocket expenses for its annual conferences, NAAHHR offers five scholarships of $1,000 (one per Adventist Health Care System). Make sure to sign up for our email newsletter to be notified of important updates.

Eligibility

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Be employed by one of the five Adventist healthcare organizations (including residents and interns) at the time of applying and at the time of the event.

2. Apply by the deadline (TBA).

3. Have at least one of the following eligibility requirements be true:

   a) Applicant must have been working in human resources for no more than one year at the time of the event.

   b) Applicant has no more than one year of experience in the healthcare field.

   c) Applicant must be a team member at a healthcare organization that does not have a budget for the conference.

Required Documents

Applicants must verify eligibility requirements with an officer. Examples of proof of eligibility include:

• A PDF resume file showing your current position and past work experience.

• Screenshot or PDF of email communication from the applicant’s direct leader verifying that the applicant’s organization will not cover the registration fee and/or travel expenses.

Terms of Agreement

The scholarship is non-transferable to another person or event.

NAAHHR officers are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Scholarship recipients are not eligible to submit another application until two years have passed since receiving the award.
