As the Seventh-day Adventist church’s health legacy grew, it spread out throughout the country and the world. With over 150 thousand combined employees in the United States alone, Seventh-day Adventist healthcare organizations have five hospital systems in the country, and several others in countries such as Brazil, the Philippines, Nigeria, and India.

With a sacred mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, AdventHealth is a connected system of care for every stage of life and health. More than 90,000 team members across hundreds of care sites including physician practices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health agencies and hospice centers provide individualized, wholistic care. A shared vision, common values, focus on whole-person health and commitment to making communities healthier unify the system's more than 50 hospital campuses in diverse markets throughout nine states.

Adventist Health is a faith-based, nonprofit, integrated health system serving more than 80 communities on the West Coast and Hawaii with over 400 sites of care. Adventist HealthCare, based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization of dedicated professionals who work together each day to improve the health and well-being of people and communities through a ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Founded in 1907, Adventist HealthCare is the first, largest, and only health system headquartered in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Loma Linda University Health is an academic medical center operating six hospitals, a physician practice corporation, remote clinics in the western United States, and affiliate organizations around the world. These medical services interact with the eight schools that make up our healthcare focused university. This mutual pursuit of excellence leads to outstanding care for our patients and great learning opportunities for our students.

As a faith-based, nonprofit health system, Kettering Health strives to improve the lives of people in our communities through healthcare and education. Kettering Health is made up of 15 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient locations throughout western Ohio, as well as Kettering Health Medical Group—with more than 700 board-certified providers dedicated to elevating the health, healing, and hope of the community. Kettering College, a division of Kettering Health Main Campus, is a fully accredited college that specializes in health science education.
