As a seasoned Human Resources professional with a career spanning over 22 years, Brooke has dedicated her professional journey to the dynamic and crucial field of Healthcare Human Resources. Her experience extends across both private and public sectors.
An understanding of the unique challenges within the healthcare industry has allowed her to lead transformative initiatives, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with overall business objectives. She spent 13 years working for the federal government spending 11 of those years with the Department of Veterans Affairs in VA Medical Center Human Resources, with a few years in between spent supporting Human Resources efforts in the Department of the Air Force and the Internal Revenue Service in their headquarters HR Policy Office.

This experience broadened her scope and deepened her understanding of the regulatory landscape, where precision and compliance are paramount. She was responsible for crafting and implementing policies that not only met the stringent requirements of the IRS but also fostered a fair and supportive work environment for employees.

She has spent the last four years with Kettering Health and, throughout her career, has remained committed to elevating the field of Human Resources, recognizing its pivotal role in organizational success.

As a part of NAAHHR, Brooke aims to leverage her experience to contribute meaningfully to the furtherment of the member organizations in the pursuit of enhancing Human Resources functions.
